Tyler’s first taste of exotic fishing came in Jamaica around 2010, sparking a lifelong passion for adventure that has since taken him on seven jungle expeditions across Brazil and Guyana. While catfish remain one of his favorite targets, he’s equally drawn to the thrilling strikes of Payara, Bicuda, and Peacock Bass — species that test both skill and instinct.
A true nature enthusiast, Tyler’s fascination with the jungle extends beyond fishing. His lifelong interest in entomology fuels his appreciation for the complex ecosystems that sustain life in the Amazon. From witnessing a 12-foot black caiman capture a wild pig to spotting river dolphins gliding through Brazil’s waters, Tyler’s experiences reflect a deep respect for the wilderness.
Known for his ability to read water and adapt quickly, Tyler uses unconventional yet effective techniques to consistently find big fish. His calm presence, patience, and enthusiasm help anglers feel confident and at ease, transforming every expedition into a fun, educational, and truly unforgettable jungle experience.
