The Río Bermejo delivers a thrilling blend of variety and challenge. Anglers routinely land Surubí Catfish over 50 kg (110 lbs) — and occasionally surpass 70 kg (150 lbs). These giants share the river with explosive Golden Dorado reaching 20 kg (44 lbs), known for their acrobatic runs and relentless strikes. There’s also a chance to encounter Manguruyú, Pacu, and other native species along the Paraguay-Paraná system. Fishing hours depend on species and conditions and can include exciting night sessions under the southern stars.


All fishing is catch-and-release, guided by seasoned local experts who know the river’s deep holes and currents. Comfortable, well-equipped boats and quality tackle are provided, ensuring every angler can focus entirely on the fight.
